In search for a long term solution for your online privacy/security and unblocking needs? Learn how you can get a lifetime plan today!

With data breaches increasing in numbers, hotels leaking your personal details, and countries declaring an open season on your digital privacy; investing in a lifetime VPN subscription has become a basic necessity of some kind.

However, the general lack of awareness about online privacy/security, results in most users being least concerned about it. The only thing that can convince such an audience is to offer them a deal of a lifetime.

Lifetime VPN Subscriptions for 2020

  1. PureVPN: Lifetime Deal at $80
  2. Ivacy: Lifetime Subscription for $60
  3. KeepSolid VPN: Lifetime for $39 Only
  4. VPNSecure: Lifetime Deal at $34.99
  5. BulletVPN: Lifetime Subscription for $39

1. PureVPN: Lifetime Deal at $80 (Recommended)

Endorsed by Forbes and enjoying a 5.0 user rating on Trustpilot, PureVPN is a Hong Kong-based premium VPN service that goes against top names in the marketplace like Nord and Express. This is why it ranks first in this listing.

Despite being a little expensive than the rest, it offers the best value for your money. Why? PureVPN unblocks Netflix US, Disney Plus, Hulu, and BBC iPlayer, works in China (also offering 12 servers in the country), and even has a audited no logs policy.

All of these incentives for a minimal of $1.32/mo, which translates to $80, if you subscribe to their lifetime subscription that easily lasts you a good 5-years. In my opinion, this is the best and most reasonably priced offer you can find from a premium VPN.

  1. 300,000 + IPs & 2000 + Servers in 140 Countries
  2. P2P/Torrenting Enabled, Port Forwarding, Static IPs
  3. DDoS Protection, NAT Firewall, Internet Kill Switch
  4. Simultaneous Connections on Up To 5 Devices
  5. Unblocks Disney+, Netflix US, BBC iPlayer, Hulu

2. Ivacy: Lifetime Subscription for $60 (Recommended)

Headquartered in Singapore, the beautiful island-nation, Ivacy is an inexpensive VPN been in the marketplace since 2007. It is responsible for the inception of the Split Tunneling concept and takes on big leaders, which is why it ranks 2nd in this listing.

For encryption, Ivacy uses AES-256-CBC ciphers. The VPN also does not store any logs and offers native apps for all popular platforms like WindowsMacAndroidiOSSamsung Smart TVsApple TVsXbox OneFirestick, and a dedicated Kodi add-on.

All of these incentives for a minimal of $0.99/mo, which means you only pay $60. This lifetime subscription will lasts you a good 5-years before expiring, but is definitely among the bests available in the VPN market.

  2. P2P/Torrenting Enabled, Port Forwarding, Split Tunneling
  3. Internet Kill Switch, NAT Firewall, and Port Changing

  5. Unblocks Disney+, Netflix US, BBC iPlayer, Hulu

3. KeepSolid VPN Unlimited: Lifetime for $39 Only

Based in Ukraine, KeepSolid VPN Unlimited initially developed quite a reputation, due to offering a free subscription to users around the world. Their VPN app was among the most downloaded on the Google Play Store.

After gaining fame, the provider now offers both: free and paid versions. Bear in mind that I do not recommend this provider, but have only added it in this listing, due to its lifetime VPN subscription that starts at $39 currently.

  1. 1,000+ Servers in 70+ Locations Around the World
  2. Supports OpenVPN Protocol with AES-128 Encryption
  3. Unlimited Traffic bandwidth with High-Speed Connection.
  4. Blocks Ads, Malware, & Tracking Systems with DNS Firewall.

4. VPNSecure: Lifetime Deal at $34.99

Based in Australia, VPNSecure has been in the market since 2010. It is another service that started out as “free” and then later introduced a “paid” version with an expanded list of “self-managed servers” in 41 countries.

Again, I do not recommend the provider, as I am generally finicky about “free VPNs”. Not to mention, it fails at unblocking services like Netflix or providing access in China. Nevertheless, you can get their lifetime subscription for $34.99!

  1. Self-Managed Servers in 41+ Countries Around the World
  2. Allows you to connect 5 devices simultaneously
  3. Unlimited Traffic bandwidth with High-Speed Connection.

5. BulletVPN: Lifetime Subscription for $39

BulletVPN is a newcomer in the competitive market of VPNs. It offers excellent customer support and fast connection speeds. Although a free trial is not available, users have an impressive money back guarantee.

However, the service does struggle in offering complete security and anonymity. It has a confusing anti-fraud policy and logs crucial session/connection information. Nevertheless, their lifetime VPn subscription is available for $39!

Are Lifetime VPN Subscriptions a Scam?

There isn’t a straight yes or no answer to this question. The thing with lifetime VPN subscriptions is that it varies provider-by-provider. Where some may be scamming you, others try their best in actually providing you great value.

Of course, who does not like seeing a great deal or massive discount on their favorite provider? With a lifetime deal, you may even be compelled to get one, before it expires. However, this is where your due diligence is required.

Just like I mentioned above, I only recommend two lifetime VPN subscriptions even from this list, and those include PureVPN’s and Ivacy’s. Apart from these, other providers cannot be considered as “trustworthy” options.

Why? Because they fail at meeting even the most basic needs of a VPN user. For instance, VPN Unlimited, VPNSecure, and BulletVPN do not unblock streaming platforms or work in China. Neither do they have an audited logging policy.

How Do VPN Lifetime Subscriptions Work?

A quick Google search on the term will bring you hundreds of results with VPNs offering lifetime subscription plans. However, is it actually even possible for a provider to offer a deal at such cheap rates?

Like I mentioned above, only a few VPN services actually go the extra mile for customers, such as PureVPN and Ivacy. Other less reputed names mostly offer such deals to get more customers to sign up, while offering them no valuable incentives.

In theory, such a model would fail particularly for a provider that already has a short customer base. Why? A subscription plan for 5 years that could cost anywhere around a $1000 being sold for $39 would just lead to straight losses.

Popular names, on the other hand, have the resources available to support such a discounted rate. And mostly, they offer such subscriptions only to spread more awareness about cyber security, which is what Pure and Ivacy do.

Why Do VPNs Offer Lifetime Subscription Plans?

Lots of newbie VPN services face trouble in making money after launching. To attract buyers, these providers offer deals that sound “too good to be true.”

In reality, these deals are actually “legit” and push the services’ popularity, because let’s be real; who does not like availing amazing discounts, right?

If I were to create a VPN service and sell a lifetime plan for $30, I’d surely find a lot of takers. This is just the way it works. People love specials/discounts.

However, this business model is not all that “successful”. VPN providers that offer lifetime deals require an endless stream of new subscribers for funding.

Since most of these providers have a “sucky” service, they end up losing more money than earning. Only some options in the marketplace can be considered “trustworthy.”

And, I have already added those lifetime vpn subscription in this guide. Of course, I only recommend going for PureVPN and Ivacy, as they have been in the industry for a long time!

Wrapping Things Up

Undoubtedly, lifetime VPN subscriptions sound really juicy to the layman. They are designed in such a way that offers you the most cheapest prices on their services, despite following a “gimmicky” business model.

so first: I have tried PureVPN and Ivacy.
I must say: lifetime subscription is not what you think. PureVPN explains to me: its for the life of the product. And they change product every 5 years or so. Nevertheless, its a good price for 5 years.
PureVPN does work in china but both Disney&Netflix now detects their VPN list and block it. their technical support is top-notch.
Ivacy , although offer many ways to connect, will fail to connect 50% of the times (my experience) and their manual connection documentation is pointing to some missing pages. They don’t support OpenVPN standard but hey: they cheap as hell.
