VPN Unlimited is based out of the United States. This would make it an awfully risky VPN service to use owing to several data retention laws in the US. For starters, the United States has long been the de facto leader of the notorious 5/9/14 Eyes alliance.

It keeps tabs on all its citizens’ online activity under the guise of safety measures against potential terrorist attacks in the aftermath of 9/11. I find it highly unlikely that VPN Unlimited would defy the US Govt and go against multiple federal and state laws in regard to tracking its users’ activities online.

As far as features go, I have no significant misgivings about the service being more than good enough. However, as I have stated multiple times, all of these features are secondary offerings next to absolute guarantee of users’ activities being kept safe and anonymous online. It is for this reason that I highly recommend a more reliable name like PureVPN instead of VPN Unlimited.
